Episode 1: A Penny From Somewhere
Welcome to the new home of misplaced!
To celebrate the new domain and setup and everything, I decided to relaunch the comic from episode 1. Those of you who have read the original iterations of the comics may notice some changes from the originals. I’ve updated the fonts used (no more comic sans) and the talk balloons to reflect the style used in the newer episodes. I’m also stretching them all to a uniform size. (650 by 2300 pixels, perfect for printing on wide rolls of toilet paper)
For a long time I’ve been wanting to redo all the comics, make them more cohesive. Consider this new version of misplaced similar to when George Lucas made the special edition versions of the original trilogy.
After all, nobody begrudged him when he did it, right?
Episode 2 will be up on Friday!

It’s like watching a favorite movie on television that you haven’t seen in awhile.
WordPress does have some limitations, but it is rock solid and usually speedy.

I think the review with the relaunch is a great idea. It looks great and didn’t take three days to load for me. There’s a bonus!
And for the record, I follow because I dig it not because of any familial obligation. 😛
